Kickboxing Background

Kickboxing is a stand-up, striking based martial art, which was first developed from combining karate and boxing. This martial art uses both the fists and feet to strike with and is a great full body work out. It is practised for self-defence and is also a recognised combat sport.

The term kickboxing can be relatively broad and includes various styles, including Muay Thai, Freestyle Kickboxing and K1. It is a highly popular martial art that will help with weight loss, muscle toning and strength building.
